Common questions
- Can I use Sakura apps without an internet connection?
- Yes. Desktop and mobile builds keep a full local SQLite database and work with no connection at all. Cloud subscribers can also install the desktop app; it caches a signed licence for 30 days, so a dropped connection or a flight never stops work.
- Do I have to subscribe, or can I buy the software outright?
- Both. A cloud subscription bills monthly or yearly and syncs across every device. A lifetime desktop licence is a single payment with no renewal, and stores its data in a local file you own.
- Where is my data stored?
- With a cloud subscription your data lives in Cloudflare D1 in Western Europe. With a desktop licence in local mode it never leaves your machine — Sakura has no copy of it.
- Can I use one account across several apps?
- Yes. One Sakura account and one workspace cover every app you buy. Licences, devices and billing are managed together in a single portal.
- How do I pay?
- Through PayPal, for both subscriptions and one-time purchases. Sakura never sees or stores your card details.
- What happens if I cancel a subscription?
- Access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. You can export your data at any time, and a lifetime desktop licence is unaffected by cancelling a cloud plan.
